Milbank Malaprops, led by Sean Keaton, will return to Flannels for Heroes in 2016, in defence of the Flannels Trophy.
The team of Lawyers and their associates pulled off a startling win in last year’s final, which saw the first ever century scored at Flannels for Heroes, by Will Leith (scorecard). He set about the Cadbury Cavaliers’ bowling with spectacular vigor, dispatching fours and sixes to all corners.
Other teams at Flannels for Heroes 2016 will include a side raised by Walking with the Wounded, one of the two main event beneficiaries and Patroned by HRH Prince Harry. We can expect them to assemble a brave band of veterans, celebrities and club stars to compete for the trophy.
The Malaprops have won three out of their four appearances at Flannels for Heroes and are clearly the team to beat in 2016.
