Charlie Gilkes, founder of Inception Group, the company which transforms classic London locations into themed bars, is showing his support of Flannels For Heroes.
One of his company’s bars, Bunga Bunga in Battersea, will be recreating itself inside Burton’s Court from 4pm until 8pm as the excitement accelerates around the final match. Bunga Bunga has a tongue-in-cheek Italian feel serving pizzas and cocktails to the West London social scene.
Another of his bars, Bart’s in Sloane Avenue, will be the venue for Flannels for Heroes’ pre-season cocktail party. Bart’s is modelled on a classic American speak-easy bar from the prohibition period and is equipped with a sliding peek-a-boo eye hole on the door, for staff to inspect new arrivals before entry.
With Maggies also in Chelsea, and two more bars opening in the West End later this year, Charlie Gilkes is staking his claim on London night life. We are delighted that he and Inception Group are supporting the causes of Flannels For Heroes.
